Not content with completing a 50-mile cycle ride last year for the Alzheimer’s 100 charity, our founder and MD Jamie Newman has started his fitness campaign to do it all over again.
The cycle ride takes place in Cheshire in June of this year. The aim of the event is to raise money for The Alzheimer’s Society, as well as raising awareness of the illness which is affecting an increasing number of people.
This will be the third Alzheimer’s 100 charity cycle ride, and so far a fantastic amount of over £68,000 has been raised.
Jamie said: “The ride last year was exhilarating. The atmosphere was just fantastic and I feel proud to have achieved it, at the same time as raising money for a very worthwhile cause. It was an easy decision – I had no hesitation about doing it again and I am training hard to give myself the best possible chance!”
