We are delighted to announce that after months of hard work and training, Jamie successfully completed his 50 mile bike ride challenge.
Jamie took part in the Alzheimers 100 Charity Cycle Ride around Cheshire, along with his good friend Antony Spence. Cheered on by a very proud wife and son, Jamie completed the course in 3 hours, raising money at the same time for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Jamie said: “It was a wonderful experience with hundreds of riders and spectators alike. There were people all along the route sat on deck chairs outside their houses cheering us on which made us push even harder.
“The atmosphere was amazing, so many people turned out to support us, and the weather was perfect on the day. I’m proud to have achieved this at the same time as raising money for a very worthwhile cause.”
Not one to rest, Jamie is already looking for his next challenge. He said he will definitely be doing the ride again, hopefully the 100 miles next time!
