Jamie Newman
Jamie is the founder and MD of the company. Following a work related family tragedy, Jamie set out on a mission to raise awareness of avoidable workplace illness and unnecessary workplace accidents. He trains with passion, and promises to train, motivate and enthuse all he comes into contact with.
Christine Newman
Christine is in charge of all financial matters at Safety Training By Design, the nice person on the end of the phone for queries regarding invoices. The surname isn’t a coincidence, yes Jamie is her other half! She is also happy to deal with any enquiries regarding course bookings, or just anything generally about Safety Training by Design that you need to know. Get in touch, she would love to hear from you.
Seana Downes
Seana is our Account Manager and will often be the first port of call for your queries. Seana is also our Marketing person whose job it is to shout about the great work done by Safety Training by Design.
Well qualified for the position, Seana has a post grad in marketing and a NEBOSH Certificate. Most importantly though, Seana is passionate about offering the best possible service to STBD's customers. Don't believe us? Call her and give us a try!
James Oldroyd
James is a widely respected scientist and a first class teacher with extensive and varied experience.
He developed his skills in Yorkshire Water for several years before moving to Bolton College in 2003 where he successfully delivered extensive work based learning programmes. He also played a key role in the development of Apprenticeships for the Utilities and Construction Industry.
As well as having qualifications in chemistry, he also has a PGCE and assessor qualifications.
